Dearest reader,
I’m as shocked as you to be sending out this month’s special edition newsletter this early in March. I’d like to thank Act Fibernet, the scorching Bangalore sun and my broke-ness for giving me so much free time to forage online and bring you this e-letter. 😂
In other news, I attended the most amazing cyanotype workshop with Kanike Studios at Science Gallery Bangalore last weekend, and I’m feeling hella inspired. And as soon as my chemicals and tarp arrive, I plan to go into my mad chemical photographer phase and reframe my relationship with the sun. Heck yeah. 🌞
Poetry Corner
1. On the Threshold of the Poem by Anna Kamienska
On the threshold of the poem shake off the dust
the powder of hate from your soul
set aside passion
so as not to defile words
Into this space step alone
and the tenderness of things will enfold you
and lead you toward the dark
as if you had lost worldly sight
There whatever was named will return
and stand in the radiance so you and I
can find each other
like two trees that were lost in fog
